Meet the Director!

Brian Webster is in his 9th year of teaching and 2nd year at Prescott South Middle School! Mr. Webster is a Cookeville native and a Prescott Bulldog himself! As an alumnus of Prescott, Avery Trace, and Cookeville High School, Mr. Webster continued his education and earned his Bachelor's of Music Education from the University of Tennessee in 2009.

Mr. Webster started his career as the director of the Warren County Elementary Schools Bands in McMinnville, TN. He taught middle school band to students at Centertown, Dibrell, and Morrison Elementary schools and also served as the assistant director to the Warren County High School Band.

The following 6 years of teaching have been at Whitthorne Middle School in Columbia, TN. The Whitthorne Middle School Band has become one of the prominent middle school bands in Middle Tennessee and has strong concert, jazz, and pep bands. Under Mr. Webster's direction the band performed for the first time at the Tennessee Music Educators Association (TMEA) prestigious state concert festival. The group consistently earns superior ratings at festival and has regular representation at regional honor bands.

Mr. Webster is married to Jessica Webster (also a middle school teacher!) and has 2 sons Emerson and Ellis.
